The Idea Holder
You have carried this idea for months, maybe years. You have never tested it. You do not know if it works, who it is really for, or how you would even start. You are ready to stop thinking about it and start proving it.
A live cohort program for 9-to-5 employees who want to build a business asset that outlasts the next restructure. Guided by Franklina Tawiah, founder of Bringing Talents to Life, author of The Reset.
A single job is not a strategic career plan. A business asset is.

Block cut 40% of its workforce in February. Amazon announced 16,000 cuts tied to AI restructuring. BMO, Scotiabank, and the Bank of Canada announced significant reductions in 2026. This is not a tech story. It is a white-collar story. The employees who feel most secure right now are the ones with something of their own on the side.

You have carried this idea for months, maybe years. You have never tested it. You do not know if it works, who it is really for, or how you would even start. You are ready to stop thinking about it and start proving it.
02
You still have your job. You do not want to quit it. But you can feel the ground shifting under your role, and you know the resume you have is not the safety net you thought it was. You want a business asset that belongs to you.
03
You have tried this before. You got as far as the logo, or the domain name, or the LinkedIn post that never went up. You do not need more inspiration. You need a system, five sessions, and someone who will not let you drift again.
The shift from reactive to strategic is not a personality trait. It is a framework. Here is what it looks like.
Inside the program
The Founder's Essentials Program is a structured four-week live cohort for employees who want to build a business on the side. Sessions in Weeks 1 through 3 and two in Week 4. Ninety minutes each. Every session ends with a named deliverable you can hold in your hands.
You leave withYour Validated Offer Statement
The idea is not the problem. The lack of pressure-testing is. In Session 1 we pull your idea into daylight and run it through the questions every founder needs to answer before spending a dollar: who is the customer, what is the real problem, what is the offer, what would they actually pay. You leave with a one-page Validated Offer Statement built with AI as your research partner, and homework that puts your idea in front of three real humans this week.
You leave withYour Founder Brand Kit
A business without a brand is a hobby. In Session 2 we build the visual and verbal foundation of your business: a name that checks out, a logo, brand colors and voice, and a LinkedIn profile rebuilt to signal that you are a founder without alarming your employer. We handle the 'my boss will see this' fear head-on and strategically. You leave with a Founder Brand Kit you can point to.
You leave withYour Live Business Front
By the end of Session 3, your business exists on the internet. A simple website that says who you help and how. Branded business social pages. A content tool stack installed and ready. We ship ugly-but-live over perfect-but-imaginary. The bar this week is not polish, it is real. You leave with a Live Business Front and your first post published.
You leave withYour 30-Day Marketing Engine
Content strategy for a founder with a day job means one thing: it has to fit in the hours you have. In Session 4 we build a 30-day content calendar you can actually run, an AI-assisted content workflow that gets a week of posts written in an hour, and a lead magnet that starts building an audience while you sleep. You leave with a 30-Day Marketing Engine and email capture live.
You leave withYour Offer Pitch
The final session is where the program becomes a business. Pricing psychology. The offer pitch. A sales conversation script you can rehearse. How to handle 'let me think about it.' Where first clients actually come from and how to reach three of them before the program ends. You leave with a locked Offer Pitch, a first-client action plan, and a commitment to who you are calling this week.

The story behind the work

I was born in Canada, raised in Ghana from the age of three with my family, where our roots are, and returned to Canada at eighteen. I have built my life and career here since. That return was the first reset I ever made. It taught me something I have never let go of: clarity is what makes movement work.
Bringing Talents to Life started the way most meaningful work does. Quietly. Friends and family were sending me their resumes for help, and I could see what they could not see in themselves. I had a real skill for resume strategy, interview preparation, and personal brand positioning, and that skill was changing outcomes. In the same year I launched, while still working a full-time corporate role, I helped over 15 professionals land roles they had told me felt out of reach. That is when BTTL stopped being a side project and became my work.

A Business Alongside The Job
The most valuable education I ever got was building a business without a runway. Every hour was borrowed. Every client had to be worth the tradeoff. I could not afford to spend three months on the wrong logo or six months on the wrong offer. I had to be strategic before I was ready.
That is the exact position most employees find themselves in when they finally decide to start something. They have the idea, the credibility, and the skill. What they do not have is time or a system. So they buy a course, watch it once, and shelve it.
The Founder's Essentials Program is the system I built for people in exactly that position. Four weeks. Five sit-downs. Five things you will actually own by the end. This is what building a business next to a job actually looks like when it works.
Turn an idea into a live, marketable business in four weeks. Without quitting your job first.

Why This Program Exists Right Now

There comes a moment in almost every senior career when no amount of intelligence, performance, or loyalty can protect you from forces outside your control. Financial restructuring, AI integration, mergers, strategic reorganization. I know this from the inside. I have sat in the rooms where the decisions get made.
The employees who feel most steady right now are the ones with something of their own already in motion. Not because they are hustling. Because they have a second asset. A brand. A small audience. A first client. Something that does not disappear when a slide deck reorganizes their department.
That is what this program is for. Not another career pivot. A business asset. Something in your name that keeps compounding while your role does whatever it is going to do.
A single job is not a strategic career plan. This program is how you build the second thing.
You do not need to start over. You need to start building.

If the service ranking is from 0 to 10, I would like to say 12. I like my new resume. All your re-edits are more powerful and clearly worded. I didn't realize how important it was to list certain things under my accounting experience. Excellent job, like nothing I've received before.
Clients have gone on to secure roles and build ventures in financial services, municipal government, social services, construction management, and technology, across Canada, the US, and internationally.
This program is designed to be funded from a paycheck. That fact shapes everything about how it is priced and how it delivers. You do not pay for information you can find on YouTube. You pay for structure, live coaching, and five deliverables you will still own three years from now.
Full investment and next cohort dates open when you apply. The application is a short conversation, not a form. You get on a call, we make sure this is the right fit for your idea and your timeline, and we go from there.
Full program investment, dates, and enrolment terms are disclosed on the application call.
The program is designed for people with jobs. Expect roughly four to six hours per week: one 90-minute live session, plus the homework that builds your business. The homework is not busywork. Every hour goes into a deliverable you will keep.
No. The program is built for people who still work a 9-to-5. That is the whole point. The BTTL position on this is direct: a single job is not a strategic career plan. This program is how you build the second thing while the first one is still paying you.
No. The program teaches AI tools that are designed for people without engineering backgrounds. If you can write an email, you can run the workflows we teach. We name specific tools, hand you the prompts, and demo them live in every session.
You need an idea to apply. It does not have to be validated, refined, or even good on paper. It has to exist. Session 1 is where we pressure-test it. Coming in with three half-ideas is fine. Coming in with none is not the right fit for this cohort.
No. And we do not use that language. The BTTL position is strategic, not glorified grind. You are not being told to sleep less and work more. You are being taught to build a business asset that gives you leverage inside and outside your current role.
Five named deliverables. A Validated Offer Statement, a Founder Brand Kit, a Live Business Front (website plus social), a 30-Day Marketing Engine, and an Offer Pitch. Plus access to the BTTL alumni community on Patreon and a recommended reading list.
You join the BTTL alumni community on Patreon for continued support, monthly office hours, and a cohort of founders who started where you started. You also receive a recommended reading and learning list to keep building. Graduation is not the finish line. It is the launch date.
Full refund terms are disclosed before payment is processed. As a general principle: if you complete Session 1 and determine the program is not right for you, we will refund your investment in full. Detailed cancellation and refund terms are on the enrolment page and comply with Ontario Consumer Protection Act requirements.
